We ask about this because it's possible you may be covered by another insurance policy you have.
When you tell us about your other policies, we'll contact the other insurer and sometimes we'll agree to share claim costs. This process is known as 'recovery' and has no impact on the outcome of your claim, it simply helps all insurers keep the cost of offering insurance cover as low as possible.
Insurances we often work with include:
- Home insurance
- Credit card of bank account insurance
- Airline insurance
We follow strict data protection rules and your information is safe and secure with us.
Sometimes, for your protection and security, we share information with fraud prevention agencies, who use it to help prevent financial crime. Fraudulent behaviour is taken very seriously and it could result in you being refused services, finance, or employment in the future.
You can check the details and your data protection rights at www.cifas.org.uk/fpn and www.insurancefraudbureau.org/privacy-policy.
We can send your data but you must submit a 'data subject access request'. You can do this by speaking with one of our experienced claims team on the below:
Tel: +44 (0) 333 333 9653
Lines Open: 9am - 5pm GMT Monday - Friday
Email: easyJet.ins@collinsoninsurance.com
Yes, we record calls for quality assurance and training purposes.
